The Observational Divide Between Conscious Spiritual Workers.

Writer: Alyra BeaumontAlyra Beaumont

Some call it "Working for Spirit." Others call it "Working for the divine."

Whatever people call it, it's still "Work."

However, some refuse to acknowledge the fact that we live in a material world, where money is 3d and used to pay for things like bills, a roof over our head and transport.

Is it ok to expect services with non-payment because it's "for the greater good?" or "For the good of humanity?"

Is it ok to expect anyone with a business, with a family to support, with bills to pay to supply their time and expertise for free?

I asked the internet - Here was the response

Absolutely not!

If you're a massage therapist and have been hired to work on friends and family, they should all be paying for your time, effort and materials.

Business is business and we enter business not always knowing the risks. We know a time may appear when someone doesn't want to pay for our services. It is up to us then, to be strong enough to say NO.

If you're a Practitioner or Therapist and you have been targetted in this way, then know your self-worth.

Know, that you are not providing free services or free time and that your time is incredibly valuable.

Know, that anybody that spends time within your energy, are very lucky to and that every penny that is spent with you, is money well worth spent.

Sometimes, we have to learn the hard way.

This book is for anyone who has started a spiritual business or who is thinking about starting one. Ideal for entrepreneurial artists, coaches, healers, therapists, producers of holistic products, and indeed anyone wanting to engage more fully with this journey.

Sometimes, it takes a real shock and a jolt to our internal systems to understand the implications of giving something away for free.

Asking for monetary compensation in return for your services is not greed, it is not materialism, it is survival and a right.

But, every lesson learnt on this business journey within the spiritual community, is another strength added.

Be strong enough to say NO.

Protect yourself, your mental health and your pocket!

Have a great business, and bloom!
